Bridge Maintenance Class

This is bridge that is in dire need of repair. Notice the steps have rotted away, along with part of the log. |

This bridge is
located at Lewis Creek. It is made from a large pine which fell across
the creek 8 years ago. Materials were brought in from the old Cassidy
Bridge to repair this one. |

New lag screws hold the decking in place. Catherine is starting them with a hammer, then Tony will follow and tighten them with an impact wrench. |

snow! The tarp is protecting the exposed wood.
